Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Monochrome Magic (“the Service”), operated by Northern Grit Digital Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Monochrome Magic is a platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate printable colouring pages from text prompts and uploaded photos. The Service includes two distinct offerings:

• Digital generation (token-based): Each AI generation consumes one token from your account balance. Output is a downloadable PNG colouring page.
• Printed colouring books (optional add-on): You may select pages from your gallery and order a professionally printed, perfect-bound colouring book shipped to your address. Printed books are priced separately and do not consume tokens.

3. Accounts and Tokens

• You must register for an account to use the Service.
• New accounts receive 3 free tokens upon registration.
• Tokens are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Tokens do not expire and remain on your account indefinitely.
• Tokens are only deducted for successful generations. Failed generations are automatically refunded to your balance.

4. Payments — Token Packs

Token pack purchases are processed securely through our payment processor. All prices are in USD. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method. Charges are collected by Northern Grit Digital Inc. and will appear on your credit card statement as Northern Grit Digital. All token purchases are final and non-refundable once processed.

5. Printed Book Orders

• Printed book orders are priced at $9.99 USD per book plus a shipping fee collected at checkout.
• Payment for book orders is processed securely through our payment processor. All prices are in USD. Charges are collected by Northern Grit Digital Inc. and will appear on your credit card statement as Northern Grit Digital.
• Once a book order is submitted for printing, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
• Printed books are fulfilled by a third-party print partner. Typical production and shipping time is 14–21 business days. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary by destination.
• If a print order fails due to a technical error on our side or our print partner's side, we will reprocess your order or issue a full refund at our discretion.
• We do not accept returns or issue refunds for printed books once they have been shipped, except in cases of manufacturing defects or incorrect items received. Contact us at support@monochromemagic.ca within 14 days of delivery to report an issue.
• You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout. We are not liable for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect address information.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is:

• Sexually explicit or harmful to minors
• Harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any person
• In violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others

Northern Grit Digital Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without notice or refund.

7. Intellectual Property

Images generated through Monochrome Magic are provided for your personal and commercial use. Northern Grit Digital Inc. does not claim ownership of your generated outputs. You are responsible for ensuring your prompts and uploaded photos do not infringe third-party rights.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will meet your expectations. Printed book quality is subject to the standards of our print fulfilment partner.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northern Grit Digital Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including delays or errors in print fulfilment.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
